Click here for a more detailed outline of what Broome Telecentre will offer in First Click Second Click training. |
The First Click Second Click program provides access to technology and training
for people who might not be able to gain computer skills without
some help. The training provided through the First Click Second Click grant
scheme targets specific groups identified in research (commissioned
by the Department of Education and Training) as most in need
of assistance.
The research showed that the key groups least likely to be computer
literate were seniors aged 65 years and over; people from low income
households; people in regional areas; and women not working aged
40 to 54 years.
